Focused on building essential skills and content knowledge, Apex Learning® Core Courses are designed to support success for both struggling and mainstream high school students. Rich graphics, engaging multimedia, hands-on interactivity, video, and audio tracks provide support for those reading below grade level and address different learning styles for all students. Robust scaffolding in the form of annotated readings, study sheets, and graphic organizers assists all learners in making consistent progress through coursework. Each semester course offers 70-90 hours of interactive direct instruction, guided practice, and integrated formative, summative, and diagnostic assessment.
