Designed to provide a bridge to high school, Apex Learning® Foundations Courses target high school students unprepared to successfully complete grade-level work. Foundations Courses feature structured remediation designed to facilitate student progress through grades 3-8 skills. Courses develop math and English-language arts skills and strategies while raising academic performance up to high school levels. Each semester course offers approximately 70-90 hours of interactive direct instruction, guided practice, and integrated formative, summative, and diagnostic assessment.
