The granddaughter of an educator, Jennifer Thresher developed a love and appreciation for education early on. Gravitating towards numbers, she began her career in procurement at Kent State University in Ohio. After leading domestic and international finance departments in the E-Commerce and Fintech industries, she returned to education and digital curriculum bringing more than 12 years of financial leadership experience to Apex Learning.
As Vice President of Finance, she is responsible for driving strategic business opportunities and financial initiatives to ensure continued organizational growth. In 2018, Jennifer assumed leadership of Human Resources and Facilities. In this role, she provides strategic guidance and leadership for all aspects of the human resources and facilities functions. Jennifer recognizes employees are the heart of an organization and focuses on creating adaptive resources and ensuring that Apex Learning employees thrive in a safe, inclusive, and diverse workplace.
Jennifer holds a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelors of Science in Finance from Youngstown State University and a Strategic Human Resources Leadership credential from Cornell University.
