Case Studies

Using Apex Learning, Window Rock High School administration is changing the culture and perception of digital curriculum in the district from a credit recovery-only solution to a critical tool for a variety of learning situations. Because Apex Learning digital curriculum offers both flexibility to customize to student needs and fidelity to standards, students now gain true mastery of content.

In 2014, Loving Municipal Schools elected to review their current digital curriculum provider due to a plethora of issues around student performance and program implementation. The district partnered with Apex Learning to offer digital curriculum with a higher level of rigor and engagement.

Reagan Middle School educators sought to improve support for at-risk students who didn’t come to class regularly, were coping with mental and physical health issues, or had life situations that affected their learning.

Four years ago, Early County School System in Blakely, Georgia, was using a digital curriculum provider that primarily relied on prerecorded video lectures to replicate the traditional classroom model. This approach did not resonate with students and was not producing the outcomes the district needed.
