Beaverton School District Boosts Middle School Achievement with Apex Learning Digital Curriculum

Press Release — 2018 — Apex Learning digital curriculum has a significant impact on student achievement, according to recent data released by Beaverton School District in Oregon (BSD). The district used Apex Learning digital curriculum to provide targeted intervention and remediation and personalize learning in the classroom to better prepare students for standardized tests. During the 2014-2015 school year, seventh and eighth grade students from two BSD middle schools demonstrated significant gains on the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) in math and English compared to similar students participating in traditional classroom instruction alone.
