Students Taking Apex Learning Advanced Placement Courses Again Outpace National AP Exam Average

Press Release — 2018 — Apex Learning, a recognized pioneer and innovator in online learning for secondary education, continues to outpace national scores on the College Board Advanced Placement (AP) exams. During the 2016–2017 school year, 65 percent of students taking Apex Learning AP courses scored a 3 or higher on the College Board exams, five percentage points higher than the national average of 60 percent for the same exams.

Loving schools fully staffed

Current-Argus — 2017 — Loving Municipal Schools district's 2017-18 school year is off to a good start as they have only one job opening, said superintendent Ann Lynn McIlroy at Tuesday's regular meeting.  Students in the advance placement bilingual class are also utilizing APEX Learning online curriculum, which McIlroy said has been successful. Through the curriculum, about six out of eight students passed the AP exam, she said.
