Communicating with Parents About Students' Online Learning

August 26, 2020 1 p.m. Eastern

As the school year begins, school districts continue to hear from parents who are looking for alternative options. Regardless of what happens with face-to-face learning, many parents are planning to move their students to a full-time, virtual school this fall. To meet this need, many of our district partners will be offering online schooling through Apex Learning Courses and Tutorials. For those districts offering at-home solutions, there's still work to be done to inform parents of the options available and advise parents on best practices for setting their students up for success with online learning.

Attend this webinar to take away some key points for communicating with parents about what to expect and how to prepare for online learning. A few considerations that will be addressed in this webinar include:

  • How parents can support students and help them manage when schoolwork is online.
  • How to communicate about student progress and areas where more help is needed.
  • What tools and resources parents will have access to for tracking student progress.
